Itinerary for the 3 Day Gorilla Habituation Experience

Day 1: Kampala – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Our safari Guide/Driver will meet you at the airport or hotel for pick-up. Embark on your journey to Bwindi Forest with a stopover at the equator crossing point and Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch. Proceed through the farmlands and gorilla highlands arriving in the evening for relaxation.

You may decide to Fly into Kisoro proceeding to the park.

Day 2: Gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi

You will rise up very early, have an early breakfast and then head to the Rushaga sector head offices. For a briefing session about the rules for gorilla tracking and allocated a team of researchers/Park Rangers who will lead you to the dense forests of Bwindi. The Researchers and Park Rangers may get closer to the primates before allowing you to get nearer.  You will observe the gorillas for 4 hours before descending back to the trailhead to proceed back to your accommodation for relaxation. Only a group of 4 people can participate in this activity.

Day 3: Travel back to Entebbe or Kigali in Rwanda for departure

After breakfast, prepare for the long journey at the end of your 3-day gorilla habituation experience tour. You will head back to Entebbe by flight or drive back. There will be stops along the way for lunch en route and the guide will drop you off at your place of convenience.

You may decide to Fly back to Entebbe or depart through Kigali International Airport.

Included in the 3-Day Gorilla Habituation Experience

Ground transportation in a safari customized 4WD Toyota Landcruiser with gasoline/fuel, Mineral water in the vehicle, services of an English-speaking Driver/guide, primate permits,  Accommodation,  Meals as shown (B-breakfast, L-lunch, D-dinner), all Park Entrance Fees, Statutory Taxes where applicable
