Fly to Kidepo Valley National Park

Save 9-10 hours of gruesome road trip to this hidden gem by taking this luxury tour and fly to Kidepo Airport. With sprawling savannah wildlife scenes and soaring mountains, Kidepo National Park might be the most picturesque park in Africa. Sharing borders with Sudan and Kenya’s Northern Frontier District, it is Uganda’s most beautiful, remote and least-explored park. Kidepo was once the playground of the late president Idi Amin and you can still visit the haunting ruins of a lodge that could just as easily have been designed as a massive bunker. Those who take the trouble to get here are rewarded with phenomenal savannah wildlife sightings and a level of exclusivity that can rarely be had at any cost in neighboring countries.

We hit the road to Murchison falls after, to check out another Uganda savanna wildlife gem, take a boat ride on the mighty Nile river to the bottom of the Falls, hang out with hippos and adventuring the savanna landscape to find the elusive members of the Big 5 Game before heading south to the rainforests of Kibale. Primates and chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park will squeeze out some adventure excitement before we get off the beaten track to yet another huge savannah wildlife gem, Queen Elizabeth National Park. By this time you may think you’ve had enough but wait till you see those lions hanging out on tree while they sketch out their next impala catch. You’ll take another exciting boat ride on Kazinga channel and then head up south through the Rwenzori mountains to the Virunga ranges to live up the last hours of the Uganda Savannah Wildlife, Chimpanzee & Gorillas Tour with the mighty mountain gorillas.
